We lost one of the best yesterday . Yesterday my dad Hal went in to the hospital for complications related to the flu. During the procedure he passed away. Catherine and I had the opportunity to spend time with him via FaceTime showing him the mural that his father had done. He was a radio operator on a B-17 during World War II, he was a member of the Academy of motion picture arts and sciences, and a member of the local 695. He was a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a horseman he was a golfer and he was an all-around good guy. We will miss you dad

Catherine and I had the greatest pleasure to see my grandfather's mural that was painted in 1950 for the Pacific Grove library, their artist studio was at this house at second and lighthouse in Pacific Grove . I was walking two blocks and clambering around the rocks and tide pools of Monterey bay, my aunt and uncle and cousins were only several blocks away.??
